Not bad installation and it does charge. I don’t understand why there is a ridged surface rather than flush? The phone doesn’t stay put very well.

Wish it was flat and not raised at the back half. Also not a big fan of the electrical connection. Plugged in lighter adapters and not hardwired with the wire flexing in the way when you open the console.

Had minor voltage issues. Quick to respond and send me out a replacement. 10/10 recommend this product. Nice not to have to have a phone cord plugged in and in the way.

Love how this turned out, fits and hold my iPhone 16 pro max perfectly. This is how these trucks should’ve came from factory. Easy install, charger came with its own 12v adapter but I just ran the cord into my outlet charger that I already had. Everything works as it should, would definitely buy again.

This is an awesome product. I bought my 2017 GMC 3500 band new ans was never able to use the factory charge pad. Phones have always been to large. While doing the install I notice that the wires on the factory charge pad were broken at the hinge. Who even knows when that happened. The install of the HyperVolt 2.0 was so easy and took less then 10 mins and it works perfectly. 👍👍 up..

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. The stock charger was pretty weak. Ordered the updated 25W Chinook charger. Install was easy and it works exceptionally well. Fast charging and reliable. Love mine and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Extremely happy with this upgrade. I had previously installed another brand and it just didn’t work well and fit was poor. The Chinook version charges extremely well without overheating my phone and has a very nice fit and finish. Well done and thank you for making wireless charging workable in my 2016 Truck!

Installation was smooth and simple to follow. I was disappointed in using my iPhone 15 max on it. The magnet was not strong enough to hold the phone in place and it gets very hot when charging. I see just a couple weeks after I made my purchase they have a clearance sale on the chargers like I have and are selling an upgraded one with a recessed area for the cameras on the phone. I am guessing that would let the magnet hold my phone properly and not get hot when charging. The one I have I have stopped using because it gets so hot, which is disappointing.

It’s perfect except I wish it plugged directly into the factory harness & not the usb lighter plug.

It is exactly what is advertised. I don't like the location of the charging pad in this car, but that's GMC's fault. Chinook created a great replacement for the now too small wireless charger, even if i still hate the location

Works as it should! Beats the oem charger by a mile. It was so annoying my phone didn't fit. The mag safe is super nice since i didn't know my phone case had it on it. Very convienent.

It doesn't charge as fast as my other charger at all and it doesn't charge thru my grip mate which my other magsafe charger let's me.

I’m not overly mechanical but I managed to remove the 2020 original charger and install the replacement one without any problems.
