I love it because I was never able to use my charger with the bigger phones and it works great but it is definitely a low quality charger. It is advertised as fast charging but my $25 wireless charger from Amazon blows it out of the water.

I received my Hypervolt 2.0 a while ago. I didn't get the time to install it immediately. I wish I had have just done it when I got it because it was dead easy to install! (Same as the way they show you in the detailed install video). I love this thing. The 25W works awesome with my Samsung Galaxy S23+. I haven't actually timed the recharge but it's fast af 😀. The unit looks slick on place of the factory (useless) wireless charger. Mines a 2020 Suburban RST. It's going to look this slick in any Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon and Yukon XL with a trim package that included the wireless charger. Pop that junk out and install the Hypervolt 2.0 and you'll be happy as hell and never look back!

Well, reading is fundamental. I for some reason did not read that this is an uograde for an already wired truck. This doesnt fit my center as mine is a larger opening but I have made use of it and the construction is nice and the charger is fantastic

Excellent product! This is solved a problem I have had for years. I always kept pushing off making my own charger solution for my Silverado because I liked the idea of the OEM built-in charger but never got around to it. My smaller phone fit my exiting pad, no issues. But - my wife's larger phone, did not fit well. It continuously was charging - not charging - charging - not charging. I think you get it. This charger was a game changer. Nice to have it on the charger and lift the arm rest to get something and not have phone laying in the back somewhere also. Love it.

The change out from the factory charger was very simple; took about 20 minutes taking my time. The fit of the new charger assembly was perfect - looks like it came from the factory. Best of all, it connected right to my iphone 16 and sits flush with the camera bump- super fast charging; the factory charger took forever IF you could get it to connect at all. I would recommend getting a 90 degree USB-C charging adapter (~$9) as the plug clearance on my 2018 Sierra is a little tight when the console is closed. One of the absolute best upgrades I've made for my truck! I HIGHLY recommend getting the Chinook Hypervolt charger.

Very easy install. Works great. The stock charger would overheat my phone and it wouldn’t charge at all. I have not had that issue with the Chinook charger once. The magnet is very strong and if I open my console it stays put and I don’t have to dig around in the backseat floorboards to find it. I would definitely recommend this if you have a 14-18 GM truck.

Make it to where it is hard wired into the truck. might as well just buy a cheap wireless charger and 3m tape it to the console if you have to use the 12v port inside of the console. Too messy! Not worth the price!

Very happy with this charger. Works infinitely better than the OEM junk. I’ve only had this overheat my iPhone once during a 17hr drive while running wireless CarPlay/maps (old one would overheat every 20min). Worth the money, charges well and doesn’t move.

Install went smoothly! Took about 45 min start to finish for the install. I have a newer plus size cell phone and the charger works great and my phone sits better on it than the factory charger. Would recommend this to everyone to install even if the factory charger is working. The profile on the arm rest is a perfect fit and looks like an OEM GM part. Very happy with the product!

It sounds like your phone or case may not support magnetic wireless charging, which could explain the issue. When using a MagSafe-compatible phone and case, the phone should stay securely in place and shouldn’t slide around. The raised charging surface is intentionally designed to accommodate the camera bumps found on about 90% of modern phones. This allows the magnetic ring to make full contact with the phone while preventing the camera bump from resting on the charger, helping maintain a strong magnetic connection and reducing heat buildup during charging. If you let us know your phone model and case, we’d be happy to help troubleshoot and make sure everything is working as intended.
